Citylife's haunted-places piece tells it: a man built on a plot everyone told him was wrong, moved his family in, and killed them all. The compound has stood empty since except for people sleeping rough in it. A sign on one building reads House of Success.

It is private property with people living in it. Read the story; do not go and stand in the yard.

It is on the route because a ghost tour that only visits wats is a temple tour.

What is said to be there

Citylife printed it: a man built on a plot he was told repeatedly was wrong, moved his family in, and killed all of them. A death like that is ผีตายโหง in the northern classification — died wrong, died violently, did not get the rites — and the class is defined by not going anywhere. The compound has stood empty since apart from people sleeping rough in it, and one building still has a sign on it reading House of Success.
