You pay only for what you float or release: a banana-leaf krathong runs about 30–100 baht from street stalls (or fold your own free at several riverside wats), a sky lantern about 50–100 baht. The thousand-lanterns-at-once photos are separate privately run ticketed events outside the city, roughly 4,800–15,500 baht (2025 prices).
