What it is

What the four minutes before the bell will tell you, if you watch them.

The long version

A ram muay is taught and belongs to a gym, so a Thai watching can often place the camp from it. Beyond that, three things are worth watching for: whether the fighter takes his time or rushes it; whether his balance holds on one leg through the slow parts; and whether he is looking at the other corner while he does it.

Inference — the first tells you about his nerves, the second about his base, and the third about whether he has decided the fight is his already.

Root

Thai รำ — to dance, in the classical sense + มวย
