Kruba Srivichai's road to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the one road in this catalogue that a congregation built. Ground broken 9 November 1934, Chao Kaew Nawarat cutting the first sod; open to vehicles 30 April 1935; five months and twenty-two days; 11.53 km of earth and laterite; up to 4,000 volunteers a day by one account.

The 700 Years Road, 26 km on the flat with seven underpasses, took twelve years and 10,070 million baht. Neither number shames the other; they measure different things.
