What it is
The northeast corner of the moat, one of the four bastions (chaeng) added to the wall in later restorations. Where two straight sides of the moat meet, and where the one-way traffic makes its turn. The Kamphaeng Din, the outer earthen wall, begins its curve from here, and the corner was the auspicious one at the founding: the first brick of the city was laid at the northeast.
