What it is
The end of the northern line, east of the river. The first train ran on 1 January 1921 through the Khun Tan tunnel; Tha Phae became the commercial centre in the years after, and most of the surviving heritage houses on that road date from that period. Charoen Mueang Road links the station to the Nawarat Bridge.
