What it is

Nakhon Ping Hospital to Mae Hia Saman Samakkhi. The MRTA's Thai page gives 15.8 km, 16 stations, seven underground, about 27,000 million baht; its English page gives 21 km, 21 stations, 24,727 trips a day at opening, cabinet April 2027, construction October 2028, opening December 2032; Railway Gazette in April 2026 describes the current scheme as a 5 km tram with six stops from Royal Park Rajapruek to Mae Hia, tenders 2027, opening December 2032; Prachachat has the whole line at about 32,000 million. All four are live. English Wikipedia still says construction 2020, completion 2027.

The hearing deck's own demand forecast runs from 3,301 to 5,773 passengers an hour per direction at opening depending on the case, which is a tram's worth, not a metro's, and the 5 km version reads as the department agreeing.
